My oil change took 2 hours because “the shop got busy.” I asked to have a dummy light taken off when I scheduled the appointment and upon arrival I reminded them of it and was told that I would owe $200 and would get it back only if it happened to be covered under warranty. I’m sure glad I reminded them of it because I was not told that over the phone and wasn’t about to spend $200 to get a dummy light taken off! They also said the process of getting the light off would take several hours and they recommended against waiting on it. I didn’t have a choice but to wait and was never offered a loaner vehicle.
